PASSION+ PURPOSE

Historically, women have been, and continue to be underserved and misunderstood in healthcare. From pain being dismissed as “psychological” or “normal” to being medicated and undergoing invasive surgical procedures to “treat the unexplained”, as with IVF.

It is my belief that nothing is unexplained. And I feel we as women are so often tarnished with this “diagnosis” as a historical hangover of us being dismissed, overlooked and underserved. Simply, we need to better understand our bodies, dig deeper to uncover the relevant cause and work in a truly holistic way to support each cell of our body back to our most vital self.

MY STORY

I’m Kimberley, Clinic Director at Life + Lemons + Founder of The Juice. I spent 2 years battling for support with painful bladder syndrome at the age of 19. It was utterly debilitating! I was dosed up on meds, operated upon and yet nothing helped. Nothing even yielded answers or explanations.

I was at rock bottom, floundering for a life line. Which is how I found acupuncture. It quite literally saved me! Not only that but I was finally able to understand my body and why it was that I was stuck in this chronic inflammatory pain cycle, simply based on the principles of Chinese Medicine.

It was at that point that formed my life’s passion to help women like you explain the unexplained in your hormonal and reproductive health. To learn to live a life free from chronic pain and prepare a pathway for pregnancy. To regain hope and resilience, knowing that you have someone fighting your corner. That you are no longer alone.
